1979 brought on a big change for Orange, The Series Two. As the 70s came to an end, they redesigned the look of their amplifiers and cabinets to try and be a bit more modern. Orange also released some new models of amplifiers. Some of them being their first ever dedicated bass amplifiers, the Super Bass 120 and the Hustler Bass combo, which consisted of a single 15” speaker. Orange also released a Hustler Guitar combo, which consisted of a single 12” speaker. They redesigned the Custom Reverb Twin 2x12” combo for the year and also introduced a Reverb Master 2x12” combo. In 1979 Orange redesigned their PA sound system equipment.

Sadly, the Bexleyheath factory in Kent closed by the end of 1979. This was caused by two major overseas distributors going out of business roughly at the same time. Because of this, the Series Two products were not produced very long and can be pretty hard to come by.
Cliff Cooper did produced some Orange Amplifiers during the 1980s but in very small quantities.
